This Fender Custom Shop 57 Stratocaster Relic in Two Tone Sunburst has the perfect blend of fashion and function. The 2 Color Sunburst over an Alder body gives this instrument a vintage vibe right from the get-go. A 57 Soft V neck is extremely comfortable and a set of hand-wound pickups all but guarantee you’ll be sounding your best!

The neck starts with a 5/4″ piece of maple which is then quartersawn for maximum stability. This guitar features 1 piece neck construction and therefore the truss rod adjusts up at the heel. The fingerboard radius is a 9.5″ and the frets are a set of Sanko 6105. 1st fret depth measurement is .850″ and .990″ at the 12th fret. It’s a medium-full feeling neck, fattening up as the frets climb.

The pickups are a set of Hand-Wound 50’s Spec Stratocaster Single Coils. These offer a little less output than the Fat ’50s and are spot-on for the early Stratocaster Sounds. A Master Volume, 2 tone controls, and a 5-way switch are pretty standard these days and easy to navigate.
